Arnur Credit started its activities in 2001 in Kazakhstan. The MFI was established as a rural credit cooperative, providing loans to its members. Arnur has managed to expand its client base by becoming a microcredit organisation in 2003 and a microfinance organisation in 2015.

The MFI has 9 branches and provides financial services in the southern region of Kazakhstan, which is the country’s agricultural centre since nearly 20 years, and perfectly masters the context of operations and the needs of rural customers.

Arnur is one of the leading MFIs in Kazakhstan and has a long history and a good reputation in its area of ​​operation. The target audience is essentially composed by farmers / entrepreneurs in rural areas and they are supported through a diversified product offering tailored to their needs. All products have an exclusively individual methodology.

The institution currently provides services to more than 22,500 clients, 74% of whom come from rural areas, and this via an average disbursed loan of EUR 1,523.
