Alexandra Remache

Before having her own business, Alexandra Remache was working more than 8 hours a day  in a factory with schedules that required considerable physical effort, furthermore the pay she was receiving was inadequate.

This option was the only way to financially support the household. As her husband was also working, the time dedicated to the family was very limited, which caused disruptions in family relations.

The hope of improving their quality of life gave Alexandra the determination to start his own business. It was at this time that Fundación Alternativa’s support was essential to the creation of her grocery store.

Alexandra received different trainings from Fundación Alternativa on how to start her store, on how to manage money and what she needed for her business to evolve.

Thanks to the support, the trainings and the monitoring provided by the MFI, the grocery store of Alexandra is now profitable.

This decision changed her life, she ceased to be employed to become her own boss and more important, she has now time to strengthen family bonds.

Here a testimony video of Alexandra Remache (in spanish)
